English from A to Z

Instructors are typically provided with educational materials to help navigate course content. However, these standard resources frequently fail to fully meet the diverse needs of every student or support the instructor’s ability to guide them effectively. The following three websites have proven to be reliable solutions to bridge that gap.

Out of the three, I rely mostly on All Things Grammar. This site offers detailed worksheets covering hundreds of grammar points, many of which include YouTube-integrated timed quizzes. Similarly, All Things Listening provides audio narratives accompanied by comprehension questions. Both platforms allow users to filter content by proficiency level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced). Finally, All Things Topics functions differently; as the name implies, it organizes material by subject matter, making it an excellent resource for learners interested in specific themes.

I highly recommend this trio of websites. One of the primary concerns when supplementing course materials online is copyright infringement; however, that is not an issue here. Every worksheet explicitly grants permission for classroom reproduction in the footer. Furthermore, 90% of the materials are free to use without requiring a username or password.
For instructors seeking additional resources, there are three budget-friendly membership tiers:
Super Teacher Patron (Level 1): $3/month
Ultra Teacher Patron (Level 2): $5/month
Ultra Teacher Plus+: $7/month
I have utilized these resources for years without ever needing a paid membership. Aside from the obvious requirement of having access to technology, I cannot identify any disadvantages.
